At Bluecoat Wollaton, Students access a Personal Development Curriculum during tutor time.
During the week they will have one of the below sessions on a rotating schedule (See more detail about these by clicking the links):
- An Act of Worship – a collective worship on our theme for the week, including scripture, prayer and once a term opportunity for communion.
- A Believe Time session – a values and faith exploration, and additional moment of worship
- An RSHE session – in which students will explore areas of the statutory guidance for Relationships, Sexual Health and Education and beyond.
- A Reading session – an opportunity to develop students’ reading fluency, confidence and use of our reading strategies.
- A Careers session – a programme designed to engage all students from Y7-11 in relevant knowledge and experience of the labour market, careers, finance, and enterprise.
