Applying for a Year 7 place in September 2025
Admissions to Bluecoat Wollaton Academy are carried out as part of the home authority’s coordinated admission arrangements. Parents/Carers wishing to apply for a year 7 place at Bluecoat Wollaton Academy starting in September 2025 should complete a local authority common application form by the 31st October 2024, naming Bluecoat Wollaton Academy as a preference.
In addition to completing the (Online common application form), parents/carers should also complete a Bluecoat Wollaton Academy supplementary form available to be completed online (CLICK HERE), alternatively a paper copy can be collected from the academy office. The supplementary form should be returned directly to the academy F.A.O Admissions by the 31st October 2024. Failure to complete both forms may result in your application not being considered under all possible criteria. Notification of school allocation will be made by your home local authority on National Offer Day. For September 2025 entry, National Offer Day is 1st March 2025.

To apply for an In-Year admission during the current academic year, please complete the ‘Bluecoat Wollaton Academy In-Year Application Form 2024-2025’. Alternatively, where this is not possible a paper application can be collected from the academy reception upon request.
