GCSE Results Day 2024

National GCSE Results Day will be on Thursday 22nd August 2024 and results will be available to collect from the Gym at Bluecoat Wollaton between 9am – 11am.

We advise all students to come into school on the day so that they can collect their results, see their teachers once more, and meet with members of the Bluecoat Sixth Form enrollment team to
receive guidance, advice and secure their post-16 place. After this time, results can be collected from Bluecoat Wollaton office (opening will be limited during the holidays and we advise attending in the morning to ensure that results can be collected).

On this day, students will be able to log in to their GO4Schools account to see their final GCSE grades. Any queries about results must be directed to bwaexams@bluecoat.uk.com.

Staff from Bluecoat Sixth Form will also be available to guide and support, as well as enroll students who will be joining in September.

Next Steps

We are very fortunate in Nottingham to have Futures available to support students. If any students need support on results day they can call 0800 858 520 or email talk@futuresforyou.com and the on duty adviser will support as best they can. The Futures office on Maid Marian Way will also be open, but there can be a long wait to be seen in person.

The National Careers Service also runs a Get Help with Exam Results service. Support is available on the National Careers Service website and students can chat to a careers adviser over the phone or by webchat.  The exam results helpline (0800 100 900) is open from Thursday 17th August until Friday 1st September 2023, from 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 5pm Saturday. Calls are free from landlines and most mobile numbers. Contact them for free advice if you’ve received exams results that were not as good as you were expecting.

The Get the Jump hub can help take the stress out of young people’s next move after their exam results. It brings together all post-16 and post-18 education and training choices in one place and offers the opportunity to speak directly to a careers adviser.
