Last Thursday was a busy and lively evening at Bluecoat Wollaton as we welcomed prospective parents and year 6 students for an insight into life at the Academy. The rise in attendance reflects the growing academic record of Bluecoat Wollaton, where excellent outcomes attained for our students well exceed national benchmarks, and as a result we expect to be heavily oversubscribed once again this year.
Thank you to all of the students who volunteered their time on the evening to share their experiences of Bluecoat Wollaton. They were, as always, a credit to the school and great ambassadors for the very hard work and respectful conduct that we see and expect every single day.
The opportunity to visit the Bluecoat Wollaton is extended in daily ‘Open Mornings’ this week as tours showcase the brilliant work that goes on daily (see main website for details).
A reminder that the deadline to the Local Authority for applications is Tuesday 31st October, and that the blue supplementary form for applying for a place via the technology or faith-based routes into the school must be submitted by Monday 2nd October.
A full list of criteria and key dates are available in the admissions section of the website; we advise you check these carefully to avoid disappointment.
