How to use flashcards effectively

1) Write a question or a key word on one side of the card and the answer or definition on the other side.

2) Quiz yourself or even better get a friend or relative to test you. This should last no longer than 10-15 minutes.

3) Any cards that you struggled on place into one pile and anything that you found easy place into another pile. The pile you found easy you will leave for a period of time before retesting and the pile you found hard look at again the next day.

4) Following using the flash cards do some exam questions on that topic to show that you can apply your knowledge.

Making the cards yourself is much more effective than using pre-made cards.
