GCSE Exam Results – Summer 2025
We are delighted with our GCSE results at Bluecoat Wollaton which are testament to the hard work and dedication of our young people.
With an average attainment 8 score of 4.9, 71.3% 4+ in English and Maths, 52% 5+ in English and Maths and 19.3% 7+ in English and Maths, our results have increased by 4% at each if the indicators above. This is fantastic for all at Bluecoat Wollaton!
Whilst we are very proud of all of our students, we would like to highlight the following students:
Tess Holdsworth Ubeda achieved all Grade 9s across her 12 subjects and Esther Burton achieved 8 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 8s. They are true testaments to the work ethic of our BWA students. Both girls worked tirelessly, stays incredibly humble about her achievements and will go on to do incredible things.
Ridha Ajaib and Saraan Irfan, our former Head Girl and Head Boy, did us proud as expected. Saraan achieved 4 Grade 9s and 7 Grade 8s whilst Ridha also excelled with 2 Grade 7s, 2 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 9s. We are incredibly proud of both their academic attainment, but also the notable contributions they made to the academy during their time with us.
Other students of note include Hoorain Waheed and Frishta Omidwar who, despite adversity, have excelled and been a true testament to what hard work, resilience and determination in the face of difficulty look like. Hoorain achieved a Grade 7 alongside 3 Grade 6s and Frishta achieved 2 Grade 4s and 2 Grade 5s. As with all our students, we are immensely proud of all they have achieved during their time with us at Bluecoat Wollaton and wish them every success for the future.
